Rumble Herd are a five piece rock band based south of Sydney. They play a diversity of heavy 70's psychedelic-rock with absolute passion!
They have also been colourfully described as 'Viking Stoner Blues Rock'. You will dig it!
The guys have recently given their support for two excellent causes by playing benefit gigs for 'Rock For A Cure' in Wollongong and 'Let your mood ROCK!' in Chippendale, NSW.

GREER TAYLOR - VISUAL ARTIST
My sculptural exploration is one which attempts to achieve a sense of knowing of the base principles of my relationship with the earth.
It is an exploration of how physical objects occupy space, and exist in space. As animals we move around in space, it provides our means of existence. As humans we create and build spaces to live in and to imagine in.
I explore elemental joining systems, to expose base principles; stacking, wrapping, weaving, leaning, natural tensions... all acknowledging the elemental physical principle of our being - gravity.
The creating of spaces experienced and imagined, macro and micro, how one shape or group of shapes or idea can embed so many meanings.
The materials I use encompass both the natural world and the products of industry, with a vision to use them in a harmony that are lessons for a wider world. GT2010

Artist Virginia Settre is based on the South Coast of NSW and after many years in the film and theatre industries has turned her hand to the Visual Arts.
Beginning her art studies in Wollongong she has built her inspirations from coastal forest environments as well as from her local multicultural communities. Virginia Settre is a wonderful artist and is an innately creative person. Her studio is situated in Bulli, NSW, Australia. |
