YOGI: SRI AUROBINDO - 15th August 1872 - 5th December 1950

This amazing website contains links to many books and poems written by Sri Aurobindo.
The site contains a link to a pdf version of 'Collected Poems' which includes seven decades of poems published by Sri Aurobindo during his lifetime, as well as some postmortem.
His first poem was published in 1883 when he was just ten. The work is truly inspiring.


Excerpt from LIGHT

I painted the flowers of the Eden bowers,
And their leaves of living green,
And mine were the dyes in the sinless eyes
Of Eden’s Virgin queen;
And when the fiend’s art in the truthful heart
Had fastened its mortal spell,
In the silvery sphere of the first-born tear
To the trembling earth I fell.
